    Lightbulb Bank of America credit cards giving free museum admission

    I saw a banner ad advertising this. I'm not going to lie I haven't been to a museum in years. But I might go if it's free! Basically I clicked on the ad and it said that with any B of A credit card you can show it at certain museums during the first few days/week/something each month and your admission will be waived. They had a list and it was nationwide and included a lot of places. I forget to check if the Getty was on there. If it is now I finally have a reason to force myself to drag my ass there since it's free.

    Just Googled this. They said it's the first weekend of every month and includes MBNA card too. There's 18 museums participating but it doesn't look like there's any in Cali.

    I also saw this thing the American Express was giving away 4 free movie tix or museum tix right now but to qualify you had to make a purchase at one of the merchants from their list in May. Del Taco was on the list too! Crap why did I decide to eat Taco Bell instead last month

    was that amex offer for any card?? how do you know about these promotions. does amex send official notices of them? i'd use them but i never hear about them.

    Just saw a banner ad for this promotion and clicked on it to read see the 411. Says they now offer it at over 70 museums. Cards from LaSalle bank are good in Illinois and Michigan too. And they do have Cali in the mix now with 11 places there alone. This promo is supposed to go on all year long.
