    Default Citi Concierge Service

Has anyone used Citi banks Concierge service? Namely the one that come with the Thank you Preferred. I am wondering if is like AMEX's where you can ask them damn near anything and they ill do it for you.

The Thank you Preferred has no annual fee. So it makes you think they had to cut corners somewhere.

Iv'e used it in the past. It's not a feature I use too often, but it's nice to have when you're in an unfamiliar area and you're looking for a place to get dinner (on a holiday) and they tell you what's around, the type of cuisine, and the price range. I mean, you could google it yourself and call, but I like recommendations Now if you're trying to get a last minute reservation at an upscale restaurant on a Friday night, I would call a concierge with more connections like Amex Plat/Centurion, Palladium, etc. For a non-annual fee card like the TY Preferred, I have no complaints though.

So, new question. I am trying to figure out are the Diamond preferred concierge benefits the same as the Thank you Preferred benefits. Talking to a Diamond Concierge it seems to be everything I want. Very upscale. But the card has no rewards. I have called citi over and over, and I have only gotten half answers.
Yeah, the site and the review here says they have it. But I can only seem to get in contact with the Diamond people NOT the Thank you Concierges.
So is the Diamond preferred concierge service better or the same as the Thank you preferred concierge service?
Or can anyone give the number of the Thank You concierge department? And I can ask them what all they offer.

Well I just read in another thread that they're "phasing out" the diamond Pref. and converting them to TY Pref, so your problem might be solved

Alright, yeah. So I am hoping that - that means the Thank You gets the concierge service the Diamond Had. Not that they are giving up on it all together.

Alright, I got the card this morning. SO
called the service today. And as far as I can tell it is the real deal. The full thing. Cool.
I guess city should re-word their site.

That's good to hear. I would suggest trying to get a seat at a fully booked restaurant. See if it can live up to par with Amex and JP Morgan. =)

It's true. Have some outta-town house guests this week and they wanted to have dinner at a popular Italian spot here in LA. I looked at reszzies through OpenTable but all our desired times were booked. A quick email to Amex Concierge and I got in at the EXACT time requested.

Hope they weren't pissed that I used my CSP to pay for dinner LOL!

I've used DP concierge a few times and they can be helpful when you're busy. Primarily they are for entertainment, like restaurants, movies, theater, concerts, etc. I have used them for party planning though. Worked out okay.
