US Bank Cash Plus doesn't report a credit limit?

Postby TheLethargicAge » Wed Apr 03, 2013 11:50 am

I just got an Equifax alert that states

Comments on your account changed from Credit card , Amount in H/C column is credit limit to Amount in H/C column is credit limit

and that the account number was changed when I upgraded to Cash+. Basically, all they did was remove the words "Credit card". Does this mean no credit limit is being reported? I hope this doesn't mess up my utilization.

American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K), Costco TrueEarnings ($8K)
Barclaycard Sallie Mae Rewards ($15K)
Capital One Quicksilver ($15K)
Chase AARP Rewards ($15K), Freedom ($15K)
Citi Double Cash ($15K)
Discover It ($11.5K)
FIA Card Services Fidelity Investment Rewards ($18K)

Mine reports it to the CB's, but on the US Bank account summary page, it shows the credit limit as "------" with no limit even though I have one. By contrast my other US Bank card has the limit listed. I can only guess that its cause a Visa Sig has no preset spending limit even tho the cards do have limits that can be exceeded. My other Visa Signatures from other banks show a hard limit though on their respective sites.

The Cash + card is a Visa Signature by default. But the experience of most (including myself) is that is does report a CL.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)
