    Default Amazon.com

Anyone here have the Amazon.com Visa from Chase? Whats your CL on the card and CS?

I have a $2200 CL on it and I requested a Visa Sig and CLI since you need to be $5000+ CLI for a Visa sig. I was denied despite having a good income, several cards with $7k to 12k CLs, and a 739 FICO (myFico).

They said they would send me a letter indicating why I was denied the CLI but its been over 2 weeks and still nothing in the mail. Very disappointed considering this is my oldest and first CC.

I got mine back in May and they gave me only 1k as my credit line.

The only reasons they would probably deny you is due to a large number of inquiries on your report or high balances on your other cards?

I see that you have a Chase Freedom Visa Signature. What is it's credit line? Banks now have to formulate your ability to repay and usually have active credit line management (total of all credit lines across several accounts = total credit line from the bank). It could be that between the Amazon and Freedom, you have the maximum credit credit that they can issue to you.

    9k CL on that card.

I actually only started with a 4k CL on the Freedom. Then I got a Southwest Visa; I cancelled it 11 months later (wasn't flying SWA anymore) and I asked if I can transfer the CL to the Freedom and they offerred to transfer about half (5k) over to the Freedom.

I've had the Amazon.com Chase since 2009. My current CL is 15.2K and CS is 772 (myFICO)

What are your balances OP? You mentioned credit lines, but not your current balances.

Chase is very CLI stingy in my encounters. I don't bother trying to get a CLI with them because it's not worth the hassle. It's 110% easier to just get a new card.
    My Limits:
    NFCU NavCheck: $15,000/NFCU Platinum: $11,500/NFCU nRewards: $8,000
    Chase Slate: $6,000/CSP: $5,000/Marriott Rewards Primier: $5,000/Chase Freedom: $4,500/
    /Southwest Primier: $3,000/Southwest Plus: $2,000
Citi Hilton HHonors: $9,700/Citi Simplicity: $8,200/Citi Forward: $5,500
AMEX Blue Cash Everyday: $8,000/SPG AMEX: $5,000/AMEX Everyday: $5,000/AMEX Delta Skymiles Platinum: $3,400
    Discover IT: $7,700
Barclay's NFL Extra Points (Carolina Panthers): $5,000
    DCU Platinum: $3,000
    RTN FCU CC: $2,000
    CCCU Platinum Rewards Visa: $2,000

At that time, I had maybe $50 or 100 balance on the Amazon card and like $400 on the Freedom. I pay in full everytime though.
