Was thinking about getting it and buying gift cards at Office Depot. You don't get the good perks unless you get the $95 AF version. (20% off travel redemptions, 1:1 point transfers with no fee)

Citi Simplicity - 5K, Sam's Club Discover - 10K

Future Cards
Sallie Mae World Mastercard

FICOs
Exp 772 - TU 781 - Equ 781

Not personally, but I know it can be done. I have an EIN.

What if you get the Ink card and buy $25,000 worth of gift cards at Office Depot throughout the year? Can you transfer those points to the CSP (if you have it) and then use the CSP 1:1 transfer and 20% off travel redemptions? Is that possible?

Active Cards:
Chase Freedom 10+10 Visa Signature ($9k Limit - 8/2012)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($10k Limit - 2/2013)
Chase Ink Plus ($7k Limit - 2/2013)
Discover IT ($9.5k Limit - 10/2012)
AMEX Zync (No Pre-set Limit - 1/2010)
AMEX Blue Cash Everyday ($20k Limit - 1/2013 - Backdate to 1/2010)

You can do it with an SSN. Got the Ink Bold and wrote business is sales in ebay and amazon. A business card will do a hard inquiry on your credit report but will not report on the aging or utilization. The inquiry stays on your report for 2 years.

It works, but Chase may flag you and shut down your UR account.

Just use it moderately and you should be fine. I would have already been doing this had I lived closer to an Office Depot (1 hour away). They are the only office supply store I am aware of that offers gift cards.

I've read online of Chase closing accounts for "perk abusers." You certainly wouldn't want to be black listed from the bank with the best rewards program. So use it wisely.

I'm confused...what's in the CSP list of benefits that makes an Office Depot gift card a good idea?
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

Chase Ink cards get 5x points at office supply stores. Then you can transfer points from Ink to CSP.

So spend in random amounts when you go there, and use it for fuel and other stuff too so it's not just for perks? I was thinking about this all day yesterday and was going to make a post, but this thread fit perfectly.
