    Smile Visa Signature Cards?

Does anyone have any Visa Signature credit cards? They came out a couple years ago (I think) and they're basically a card to compete with AMEX gold/platinum. They give you a concierge and some other travel benefits with the card.

It's definitely not a prestigious card though like American Express because they offer the Visa Signature option on so many cards like even the Alaskan Airlines card.

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone has any cards with this option? You probably already do but don't know it because I know a lot of the Bank of America credit cards come with it automatically.

I just got the Visa Nordstrom Signature card and their customer service is top notch. On par with American Express in my opinion. In fact AMEX now has some real competition now!

I was thinking of doing the B of A Signature Visa. Anyone have that card here?

    Talking Signatures

The Visa Signature cards are new just in the last couple years right?

Speaking of signatures and credit cards isn't it funny how you can sign anything on a receipt and they always accept it? I've drawn squares, lines, smiley faces and dots and they don't turn down anything.

From what I've heard most Visa Signature cards don't report the limits to the credit bureaus so it's possible for them to actually hurt your credit score. Let's say they give you a 20k limit and all your other cards are 10k. Well if you put 10k on the Signature card one month (50% of your 20k limit) since the CL isn't reported, the bureaus just figure your credit limit is the average of your other credit cards. If that average was 10k it would be calculated as you using 100% of your credit limit... not good!

    Default cocierge feature

Has anyone used the concierge feature on the Signature cards? They say there's a concierge avail 24/7. What can you use it for? They say dinner reservations. Does that mean they can get you in a booked restaurant liked American Express concierge can? I haven't heard from one person out there that has used this service. I'd like to know if it's actually useful or just an added feature which doesn't really benefit you.

Visa Signature cards aren't all that special now. There's dozens of issuers, maybe even hundreds. The funny thing is most people probably already have a Visa card in their wallet that is a Signature and haven't even used the extra services before. I don't know a single person that has actually used it before.

thanks for the link. if visa were smart they would market the concierge service more. that's the major selling point the visa signature cards have going for them.
