I am also a Charter Member on my AT&T Univeral Card. Not really sure how much I would read into that considering I became a member in 1999-9 years after the AT&T Universal card was launched. Admittedly it was still pretty much the original Universal Card in 1999 before the removed the calling card feature and now have added Thank You rewards....I am still waiting for AT&T and Citibank to discontinue the program (it really doesn't make sense anymore) and reissue all of us regular Citi Thank You cards.....

I had an AT&T Universal Card back when it was issued by Universal Bank; I was a "charter member." Closed that account a long time ago. I had the Citi version a few years ago and close it because I didn't see the point.

I wonder why they haven't advertised it much. The card is fantastic. I can't wait to see the rewards pile up. I think they should let us lock in the categories that we want, even if they decide to change them for new card holders.
