Default Bank of America Upgrade Offer

I received an offer to upgrade my Bank of America Visa Signature with World Points (itself upgraded automatically by BofA from a Visa Gold in 2010) to a BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Signature.

Other than the fact that the black BofA Visa Signature with World Points is the best looking credit card I've seen, I don't want to risk losing my 9.9% fixed APR on the card. On the offer for the upgrade, it states that the current terms and conditions will remain the same should I accept. I accepted an upgrade last year on my other BofA Visa to the Bank of America Accelerated Cash Rewards Amex and true to their word everything transfered and they have not changed any of the terms.

Has anybody else received this offer? Did you accept? Any regrets?

Default re Bank of America Upgrade Offer

Thanks, FutureBillionaire. So you have the Cash Rewards and the Accelarated Cash Rewards? Does the cash back go into one pot or are they separate?

I am leaning towards accepting the offer. I just wish they would have sent the upgrade offer on the Amex instead of my Visa.....

They go to separate pots. They are supposedly giving more money if you deposit into a BofA bank account. I don't want to go through the hassle of signing up with them though.

I commend you for your great interest rate. I'm also interested your card that you said looks great.

Yeah, the letter says that an extra 10% will be credited if you have the cash reward deposited into a BofA checking account-which I have.

My current Bank of America Visa Signature with WorldPoints looks great. I can't seem to post a picture of one here. But a quick Google Image search for Bank of America Visa Siganture WorldPoints will bring it up.

Yeah 9.9% fixed since I opened it in 2001 as a Visa Gold. Its funny, with all the hate people have for BofA, they have treated me pretty darn nice over the years.
