Default The 5x point categories on Forward

I have only used my Citi Forward at fast food places, restaurants, and books stores, all of which should give me 5X points, yet on my account summary, it says that I have X amount of base points (1X points). Why is this? Are some of these businesses not categorizing themselves correctly?

CD, check your statement again. I think your bonus points will be totaled separately in a "bonus" category if I'm not mistaken. I used to have a Forward card and I think this is how they did it.
    CARDS (and why)
FIA Card Services: Fidelity Amex (best cash back excepting 5% cards), Fidelity Visa (spare)
Chase: Freedom (only for 5% reward categories, purchases under $10), Sapphire (not in use), Amazon Rewards (for Amazon purchases only)
CapitalOne: No Hassle Rewards (no foreign transaction fee, my only MasterCard, not in use)
Amex: Blue Cash Everyday (not in use)
Discover: More (only for 5% reward categories)

Amazon is the bookstore that I used most.

Jeffysdad, do you mean that if I get 5X on a purchase, they list the regular 1X and the extra 4X separately?

CD, I doubt that Forward counts Amazon as a bookstore.

Yes, I think your base points and your bonus points are listed on the statement separately, should be near each other, if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Citi/Amazon. That's cool. I wish I had known that when I had that card.

I spoke with a Citi rep today and she said that the 5 points for Amazon is a promotional offer for new applicants that will be ending at some point. She said that if I switched from my current Citi card, I would not be eligible. I'd have to app for the Citi Forward to be eligible - and even then, it would only be temporary.
