Default Using the Citi Forward for purchases on Amazon

Since Amazon is a bookstore, would I be getting five points per dollar even if I purchase a non-book item (video game, TV, CDs, etc.)? What about MP3 downloads?

Absolutely. I only use my forward card on amazon. Boots, electronics, DVDs, books, clothes all count for 5x points because amazon.com is listed as a bookstore. Same as apps for android phones on amazon, those are considered purchases made from a record store which also gets 5x

Discover: Discover More (5% rotating categories)
Mastercard: Best Buy (4% at best buy), Chase Freedom (5% rotating categories)
    American Express: Zync

I think I'm going to apply for this card in a few months. Is Citi generous with the limits on this card?

Question using citi forward on amazon

many of our purchases on amazon are for pricey 'subscribe and save' supplements that are auto shipped monthly. would these qualify for the 5% citi forward rewards? thank you.

Most likely your purchases will receive the 5x points per dollar spent. However it depends on what you use your points toward to maxamize your savings. if you use them toward certain gift cards then you will receive 5%, if its cash back its more like 3.5%

Spoke with a Citi rep today. She said the 5 points with Amazon is a promotional offer that will be ending at some point.
