    Default Does Visa cover stolen items?

    I have a Sapphire which is a Signature and I have never used the benefits but I remember reading somewhere that some Visa cards cover stolen items. What type of Visa cards does that go for, the Signature? My radar detector was stolen out of my car and I believe to have bought it on my Visa, will that be covered?

    I believe the VIsa Signature does cover stolen items for up to 3 months after purchase. I have never used it though and do not know the restrictions and rules surrounding it.

    For that being stolen from the car that might not qualify. It should fall under auto insurance and credit card insurance is always secondary to other forms of coverage.
