    Cool What banks pull equifax for decisions

    my highest score is on equifax, i was wondering if anyone knew what banks for sure in 2010 are pulling Equifax for credit decisions- just for those that say "it depends on where you live" im in florida- there are some OLD outdated post online that state what banks pull what reports but like i said, they are old

    I just had reports pulled for a mortgage pre-approval. Chase pulled all three: Experian (using Fair Isaac score), Equifax (using something called "BEACON 5") and Trans Union (using "Classic 04"). Experian reported the highest score by far.

    yeah, mtgs are completely different from auto and credit card loans, they always pull a tri merge with mtgs. for auto loans and credit cards most banks stick to one report-

    ooops i completely goofed this thread- anyone know where the edit button is, I am inquiring specifically about credit cards and which banks pull equifax for credit card decisions- my fault folks

    American Express tends to use Equifax the most, Experian the second most, and TransUnion rarely, or that's how it used to be.
