Email them now. Your card qualifies for the upgrade ($6K CL, opened in 2012). Trust me, they'll make it happen.

Is there any benefit to even bother with the Signature version? The concierge I probably won't use. I currently have the platinum version and it seems like it already has purchase security, and warranty manager.

If I want my Chase Freedom to be a Visa Signature card, how do I go about doing this? The reason it's not a Visa Signature card is that it was the first card I ever opened (with a $1,000 credit limit), and I think that you need to have a $5,000 credit limit minimum to get a Visa Signature card.

Do I have to move some of my credit limit from my CSP to my Freedom in order to meet the $5,000 minimum? Even after I do that, is it possible to "upgrade" to the Freedom Visa Signature?

I'm curious to know what you will gain, or think you'll gain by doing this. You have one signature card from Chase, and one from US Bank. What's the benefit TO YOU of having 2 from Chase? Yes, there are many of us that have 2 or more from the same issuer (myself included), but most of us simply applied for the 2nd card for a specific purpose.

Also, the $5K "minimum" for a signature is anecdotal. There's no written requirement with issuers for this, and there's reports of folks getting a signature card with a less than $5K CL.
Retired, and in the process of retiring cards!

I'll also add that my original Freedom was over 6k for a credit limit and still wasn't issued as a signature.

Cuz if I want to buy something from, say, Amazon.com, that has a 5% cash back on Freedom from October-December, I want to have the Return Protection and Purchase Protection Visa Signature benefits on that purchase.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature: 11/2013, $15,000 CL
Chase Freedom Visa: 11/2009, $4,700 CL
    U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature: 11/2013, $11,200 CL

I sent an email to the address on file; a lady called me back just now and set me up with upgrading the Freedom to a Visa Signature. $5K limit, I've had it for around 15 months now.

I did the same thing, sent a message via secure message center and got a call back and was successful to convert to signature.
