And it seems as a general rule of thumb based of my simple search that there are a ton of members here that have recevied auto CLI's out of the blue.... So what you're saying is wrong, b/c as I stated, Chase is giving out auto CLI.. If that wasn't the case then no member would be stating they got an auto CLI; True or False????

Thanks though...

Trumpet, what haven't you answered my question?

For what it's worth I've gotten no autos from them and had the CSP for a year now. My only request for a CLI on it was flat out declined and cost me two hard pulls. Won't happen again (me asking).

I got that same one, and added an extra $2500 to my CL.

Yes I decided to do it. All I did was ask for a $2k CLI. All they needed my to do was verify my income. I didn't want to be greedy.

I was instant approved for the $2k; my now CL is $10k!

A month later, they automatically gave me a CLI for the Freedom card by $2,500. Now, I just got an automatic CLI for my CSP for $1,500. These are my only two cards. Can't tell you how they decide to do it or when.

I got an "invitation" to apply for an easy CLI on my Freedom the DAY AFTER my CSP application was approved. I have received plenty of automatic increases on the Freedom and my Slate in the past. This was the first I had to apply for, and the timing was quite interesting.

Now I have 20k with them. It probably helps that they are my bank.

I guess you missed the part where I said Chase sent me an email (invitation) stating I was eligable for a CLI.

All I did was verify my income and put in how much of an increase I wanted and that's it, instant CLI

There was no HP unless I wanted my CL above $14k

In my case, it's two hard pulls if I ask them.

You did well to get that. But you know it's ALWAYS YMMV, Chase > all other banks FOR YOU, but they may not treat others the same. That's why I say, try them all stick with the ones who want your business and value you as a customer and lose the rest - it does everyone a favor so you get the best cards/treatment possible, they don't have customers they aren't making on, and everyone should be happy (as you are, deservedly so). You just never know which lenders will like you and which don't so try em all.
