Consider this: only a handful of banks (NOT including some very large banks that subscribe to the MasterCard Network) offer this special tier of MasterCard. Why is this? On the other hand (please see the post from CreditCardGuru on this subject), if you want an "Infinite" tier Visa card (the supposed "highest" Visa), you can't get one in the USA: Signature Visa is the highest, and just about ALL banks that subscribe to Visa will offer that tier of card. Again, what's the story...what's the gimmick with this type of MasterCard? I'm not going to apply for a new MasterCard credit account when my account history/credit status with my current banks would guarantee a simple product change from "World" to "World Elite"! If this tier is available, make it available to ALL MasterCard subscribing banks. Thank you.
