It would seem so.
Have you been a business owner for many years before getting your Centurion?
I'm looking to start my own hedge fund firm in the next 3 to 4 years, Centurion will come right after that.

Yes, been 'self employed' for years. Doing what I want.... major risk but hey, risk brings rewards.

I keep receiving that offer in the mail every 6 months. Always trashed it. IMO, it's a fake prestigious card and not in the same league as the AMEX Platinum.

I've heard of people getting 500 limits so when the annual fee posts that puts you at 99%. I'm far less than impressed by what it offers for that steep yearly fee, personally.

my friend wanted that card- I told him to get one of his cards spray canned and whhalla a black card!

I received the same offer for a "Black" Visa Card. It was from the Barclay's bank. Ironically, for $495.00, I'll get a substantially lower credit ceiling (being a brand new customer to that bank), I'll get a much higher interest rate than what I'm paying on my established credit card accts. and aside from a "full time" concierge, there's nothing offered that my Visa Signature doesn't offer. But here is a question for everyone: Is the "Black Visa Card" really an upper tier level card from the Visa network, OR: is it simply a name/color type of card that an individual bank offers (like "Freedom", "Sapphire", "Venture", etc.? Please advise. Thanks!
