Amazon Rewards Visa -- Ultimate Rewards?

Postby tigerowl06 » Tue Mar 11, 2014 10:12 pm

(1) Does the Amazon Rewards Visa earn Ultimate Rewards points? If you have a Sapphire card, can they be combined and transferred to United MileagePlus?

(2) Does anyone know if Chase will allow me to convert my Freedom card to an Amazon Rewards card?

Thanks.

That depends on your spending. If you spend a big amount on Amazon, the Amazon card may be better for you in terms of rewards.

Would be awesome if there was a low fee version that comes with prime and 3% across all amazon purchases, including marketplace.

Where I live in Seattle, there is Amazon Fresh for groceries and I use that sometimes. And they advertise that the 3% applies to that. Also I don't have a car, so all of those 5% on gas quarters aren't useful.
