Get the Freedom Back

Postby ncosky290 » Sun Mar 09, 2014 8:41 pm

How long must a Chase account be closed before they will consider an application for the same product? I closed my Chase Freedom Account back in November...

Thanks.

As far as I know you can apply anytime. I had a Freedom in 2012 and closed it then opened another one earlier this year but I'm not aware of any delay between when you had one and applying. You probably won't get the sign up bonus unless you wait a year - I got it on this last one as it had been over a year since I closed mine but I'm guessing under a year you probably won't.

But you should be able to apply anytime.

I was just wondering cause I applied for it back in January and got denied w/o a pull. It stated I already have one even though I don't...

Was it still reporting when you applied?

You should be good to go by now I would think. If not give them a call and ask them. As far as I'm aware there should be no problem.
