Anyone have an opinion on this card? I'd like to hear about the good/bad/ugly and tips/tricks with this guy.

I have it. Here is something I can share
1/ 5% cash back bonus quarterly but limited at $300 per year. No matter how much you use, you only get $300 cash back.

2/ You can get unlimited cash back through a portal of online shopping, pretty much like Shopdiscover and UR Mall.
All my posts are my opinions. All my posts mentioned "you" are merely for discussion-purpose only. No advice is given in any post at any time. It is also impossible for me to put effort to verify every statement that anyone has given.

I believe you are incorrect.

Notes on the card:
I'm constantly getting 0% balance transfer offers. (still a 3% transfer fee, but 0% interest for 18 months)
The 5% categories usually aren't as good as Freedom or IT, so I don't find myself using it often.
Offered with chip and signature.

Overall, its just another 5% rotating category card to keep on hand. I never use it for anything else because 1% just doesn't cut it. You also have to redeem the cash back in $50 increments, which could take awhile to achieve if the categories aren't good. One way to get up to the $50 is to use the above mentioned Citi Bonus Cash Center.
Chase Freedom Signature - 10k (rotating 5%)
Citi Platinum Select - 8.1k (rotating 5%)
Discover It - 12k (rotating 5%)
AMEX BCE - 20k (Groceries 3% / Gas 2% )
Regions Signature Visa - 5k
US Bank Cash+ - 5.5k (Restaurants/Fast Food 5% / Drug Stores 2%)
Navy Federal cashRewards Visa Signature - 20k (Business Purchases)
Care Credit - 6k (Vet Bills/Dentist - 0% APR)
Chase IHG Rewards (Priority Club) - 18k (Annual Night Certificate, Platinum Elite Status)

Not used except for occasional purchase with promo:
Jared - 7.5k

I hardly ever use mine. It is an alright card, but there is much better out there.

I have had the card for a while and I use it for a few auto payments on a few bills. Like said above, you can only take out the cash back in $50 dollar increments, which is a hassle.

The 5% quarterly categories on this card are terrible.
Blue Cash Preferred ($24K), Costco TrueEarnings ($8K), Better Balance Rewards ($6K), CashForward ($15K), Sallie Mae Rewards ($10K), Quicksilver ($17K), AARP Rewards ($15K), Freedom ($15K), Double Cash ($16.5K), It ($28.5K), Fidelity Investment Rewards ($18K), Cash+ ($11K)

Why are they terrible? How do they compare with Discover and BOA?

I would max this card out on Drugstore purchases and the sock drawer it for the rest of the year. Meh. It's not worth the hard pull right now.

The categories, of course, depend on your spend, but the It and Freedom cards do seem to be more appealing to most people. This quarter is Macy's, Drug Stores, and Fitness Clubs... compare that with Discover (restaurants) and Chase Freedom (gas, movies)- and unless you shop at Macy's a lot, this quarter isn't very appealing. You can only spend so much on health club dues. The only good quarter for me with the Citi Dividend would be the summer when you can get 5% on gas, but the other two also offer that.
In my Wallet:
 • Amex PRG NPSL[3-14, bd 91]
 • Sallie Mae MC $8000[1-14]
 • Chase Freedom $4700[1-14]
 • Discover It $2750[8-13]
 • BoA UCF Alumni Cash Rewards $5000 [3-15]
Sometimes in my Wallet:
 • GM BuyPower WEMC $5000[9-14]
 • Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex $7000[4-14]
 • Barclaycard Arrival WEMC $7000[3-14]
 • BoA Better Balance $3000[2-15]
In my sockdrawer: Amex BCE $1000[10-13, bd 91], OCCU Duck $10000 [11-13], The Sportsman's Guide Visa $8000[8-14], Chase Slate $4000 [9-14]Delta Gold Amex $2000 [2-15 bd 91], Diners Club MC $20000 [10-14] Commerce Bank Visa $2000 [3-15] Citi Double Cash $1000 [3-15]
Total CL: $90450
