Barclaycard Arrival 20,000 miles bonus question

Postby DeeJay8385 » Sun Feb 09, 2014 3:28 pm

Last week, I received my Arrival card from Barclay and if I spend $1000 during the first 90 days, I'll receive 20,000 bonus miles. The other day, I spent $480 for service repairs at Nissan. That means I'm $520 away from receiving my bonus miles or do I need to pay what was charged to my arrival card each in everytime until I hit the $1000 mark during my first 90 days? I hope i didn't confuse anyone with this

Not sure what you are asking, but the offer is pretty straightforward; charge $1000 in 90 days, I assume you keep the card in good standing and pay at least the minimum payment, and collect the points. Although the offer I looked at said 40,000 miles.
Gold American Express, since 1979,
back when it meant something.
And a few other cash back cards as well.

Thanks. The 40,000 bonus miles is for the arrival card with the $89 annual fee. I have the no annual fee card so the bonus miles are less with the no annual fee card

I interpreted the question as if I make the spend but don't PIF will I get the points. I have no personal experience there with that as I just paid in full. So I can't answer that.
