I would like to leverage any possible Visa rewards cards that I can get for my trip. I am choosing Visa because I heard it's easier to use in Europe and Switzerland. If I am wrong, please correct me.
I am planning to go to Switzerland in June on a specialize tour. Tour itself, not including airfare will be about 3K-3.5K.
-No Foreign Transaction Fees
Ideal but not a deal breaker:
-Would like 0% APR on purchases for first year (few months is fine too)
-No annual fee (no fee for just the first year is fine too)
-Lots of rewards (I know, I know, this is vague, but any ideas would be great)
What I am currently looking at:
-Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card
-Chase Sapphire Preferred Card
Ideal situation is that I get card within next week or so. Pay for just the tour, get credit/reward, and spend it on airfare. Then slowly pay off the balance over a year or so with 0% APR.
Any other suggestions or tips is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
