Approved for the Travel Rewards

Postby AMEXAT19 » Wed Dec 18, 2013 4:29 pm

Hey Guys,

Walked into the banking center yesterday due to some problems I was having a department store charge card, but anyways.

Was approved for this card instantly with a CL of $8000, just have a few concerns hope you fellow members can help.

What are the true benefits of this card being that I currently have the BankAmericard Cash Rewards with a $10,000 CL

Is there an advantage to having this card for travel as I also have an AMEX PRG that I love!

Also, what's the deal with the EMV chip I don't understand the purpose

Just to pat myself on the back I think I have done quiet well being that I am 21, with a CL from a bank totaling $18,000, but I'm really thinking about just transferring some of the credit line from the new card the Cash Rewards

Thanks guys

Foreign travel card acceptance. It's pretty much irrelevant in the USA for now.
Citi Forward ($10.1K), AmEx Blue Cash Everyday ($30K), Chase Freedom ($12.4K), Discover it ($5.5K), Barclaycard Arrival ($12.5K), L.L. Bean Visa ($5K). FICO 806 (TU), 812 (EQ), 806 (EX).
