Approved for Arrival

Postby lexrj » Wed Oct 30, 2013 12:40 pm

After trying to book my next trip through Chase mall and being extremely frustrated with the flight selection and pricing, I'm swapping the CSP for the Arrival so I can book whatever I want.

Instant approval 12.5k CL

CSP going straight to the socks drawer until I PC to Sapphire before the AF hits.

CSP - 15K (03/13)

that's awesome lexrj!

hopefully once you get the bonus miles and rack up enough let us know how easy it is to get flights/which ones/where

for me I haven't wanted to use it for miles because of that reason, it's clumbersome for me. some has had great experiences some haven't..i just rather get straight cash and watch for the flight deals xD

Congrats! When I got my Arrival, I quickly hit the spend threshold for the 40,000 points, used em up and then sock drawered it. It's a great card, but still not as good as the flexibility of UR points via the CSP.
AMEX: PRG Gold, Business Simply Cash, Business Costco, BCE.
Chase: United MileagePlus Club, Sapphire Preferred, Amazon Rewards
Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard
HSBC Cash or Fly World Mastercard
USAA World Mastercard, USAA Platinum Mastercard
Wells Fargo Business Platinum
USC Credit Union Mastercard

I'm doing the opposite, CSP is going to the socks drawer and Arrival is going in my wallet to be used a lot, specially for spending that currently only gives me 1%.
What is it about the UR points that you like so much? I can't see why ppl like it so much.
You know that the Arrival have the same exact UR faster rewards mall right?

I think it's funny you can't understand why people just have different preferences?
