Im a bit curious on making a reservation, One of my friends invited me to her graduation in Sacramento and i want to stay in https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/sacdt-residence-inn-sacramento-downtown-at-capitol-park/. I want to stay for 5 days (short vacation ;) ).

for me to stay 5 days (5th night is free if 4 days are booked) i need 60k points i have 51k and also a free night stay Visa certificate.

I am wondering if i can use my points to credit them for 3 days use the visa certificate stay making it 4 days and stay the 5th night free- is that possible?

I want to call Marrriott but that wont be possible till 7pm its 2pm in cali ;/ -work :(

Did you call the reservation line or the rewards customer service line? Another small workaround I used earlier this year, my one free night was due to expire in November but I needed a room in December, I called and they just extended it another six months for me.

i think i remember you from before, yup i called the silver elite customer service. i called after hours and they said i had to call in the following day since the ones that were only able to credit my free night on an already made reservation where closed. i will be calling today during my work break.

with my already made reservation i used up all my points and paying cash $137 -_-

the lady who helped me said that the system was not recognizing my free visa night stay.
but when i make the call that i was going to be credited my visa stay and that they where going to cancel the cash payment and get i 6K points back..

I want to stay for 5 days..
I have 51K points
----------------------------
credit 3 nights with points (15,000 per night) - 45,000 total
credit my visa night stay
and get the 5th night free
