Did a CLI On My Freedom.. Also Did a B/T As Well

Postby Dylan1982 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 12:15 pm

I opened this CC back in 2/2013 of this year. I have an initial CL of $5k. It has been 6 months since I have owned the card and I pay the balance off in full EVERY MONTH. No balance FTW!!! LOL

Anyways, I called the backdoor credit analysis number [(888) 245-0625] first to by-pass the CSR and get right to business. But the rep at the backdoor number stated that I need to first go through a regular CSR. I obliged with their order and talked to a CSR.

I asked for a +$5k CLI making my new CL of $10k. Got denied, even though I pay this card on time, in FULL everymonth and have credit scores 725+...

I proceeded to do a B/T from my Thank You Card (long story why there is even a balance on that card). But I am assuming that B/T went through. Got an email from Chase, a text from Chase and got a notification on my iPhone app that there is a pending charge.

So I thanked teh CSR, hung up and called that Credit Analysis back door number. Spoke to another friendly person (love this number, you get right through in under 10 seconds I kid you not).

So I explained to here what I did, what had happened and why I need the CLI. She asked me some questions and BAMB, was INSTANTLY APPROVED for +$3k. Making my new CL of $8k.

Love Chase, they are such an amazing bank. Logged into my Chase acct already and right away it showed me my new CL!!!!!

Unfortunatley yes there was :( Which kind of sucks. It was 3% (the normal fee). I though it would be free b/c I am in my promotional period... 0% APR on B/T for 15 months.

Ohh well, its all good.
