Freedom Upgraded To Signature

Postby kcarter609 » Sat Aug 17, 2013 11:47 am

Ok, I've been extremely busy so I've been AWOL for several months now. I'm coming back with news.

My Freedom got randomly CLI'd to $7,500 (it was $5,000) 2 months ago without me asking. I also just got it upgraded to a Visa Signature. I called the CSP help line, he sent an email over, and in 2 minutes he said I'd get a call from them within 10 days. I got a call, had to verify my income, and the request was processed.

I asked how to get this done for people who don't have the CSP for the help line, and said either via the secure message center or ask for a manager when you call. Minimum $5k limit and 12 months old.

Active Cards:
Chase Freedom 10+10 Visa Signature ($9k Limit - 8/2012)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($10k Limit - 2/2013)
Chase Ink Plus ($7k Limit - 2/2013)
Discover IT ($9.5k Limit - 10/2012)
AMEX Zync (No Pre-set Limit - 1/2010)
AMEX Blue Cash Everyday ($20k Limit - 1/2013 - Backdate to 1/2010)

Good to know. Looks like this month marks your 12th month too. Are you still in the 10+10 program?

Yes I'm still on the 10+10. They haven't taken that away from me, and I hope they never do. I get a TON of extra points because of it and I use my Freedom/CSP almost exclusively. I haven't used the IT, BCE, or Zync in over 6 months. I literally have months where I get an extra 2k+ points from the 10+10 program alone. I just wish Chase would open branches in VA. If they did, I'd probably move all of my money to them.

I'm not sure if you've heard, but Chase has been switching over people from the 10+10 to just 10% annual dividend and I'm guessing they will switch everyone grandfathered in by the end of the year. Enjoy it while it last.

I've heard. I just wish they never did it. Hopefully I can stay grandfathered in for a while. I'm assuming I'll get a letter about it when it's going to happen?

Yep, I got my letter about a month and a half ago. Told me I lose 10+10 in September.
