how to request CLI for freedom

Hi, I got this card about 4 months ago for only 10k CL (comparing to my others). i am trying to see if i can request CLI to 15k, but from Chase site, i couldn't find any place to request CLI. do i need to call them for that?
Current Cards: American Express:Blue Cash Everyday CL 33.6k member since 94
Bank Americard Power Cash Rewards Signature Visa CL 20k member since 10
Discover IT $9.5k member since 10
Chase freedom $10k, since 13
BB Store card $2600, since 02
Macys $2700, since 02

Yes you must call and it will be a hard pull unless they auto CLI you. Good luck, let us know how it goes.

No need to call. A secure message from within Chase's site will do just fine. You'll have a record of the request and can specify in writing, that you don't want a hard pull.

I was thinking about logging in and requesting an increase through the secure message and when I logged in I noticed they had lowered my CL 1700 WTF.....

Thats really high. Anything above 20-30% is bad.

Will they grant a CLI without a hard inquiry?

I spoke to them yesterday and 95% if the time its a hard pull. With special issues will they with a soft they gave me an additional 500 because they had made a clerical error.
