Ya they accept MC & Discover only. I don't have Discover, I'm not quite ready to take the plunge & get a Discover.

I think I'm gonna go with Freedom MC

I think now I would just go with Visa but if you really want Mastercard, and if you can't find the online app, you can PC it to a Mastercard once you get the Freedom from what I read on FICO (no first hand experience, I just app'd online for the MC version and got that).

I also wanted a Freedom card in a MC, but I had a difficult time finding the application so I applied for the Visa version. When I called to have it converted to a MC, the rep on the phone said that I couldn't convert to MC until the 0% APR for 15 months promotion on my account ran out. I'm stuck with the Visa until then.

If you want the Freedom in a MC - do some searching for that elusive application.

I just use my Sam's card. It doesn't have and rewards, but considering how minuscule the cashback is with both Freedom and Discover at warehouse stores, I'll manage not to suffer lol.

Just an fyi, you don't have to wait. You can just change it, but it will cost you the 0% promo. I wanted to change my CSP bill due date and the csr told me I would lose the 0% interest, but the CSP doesn't come with that offer so it didn't matter to me. You still keep your sign up promo and other stuff tho.

This is interesting - I'll have to call them again. I even offered to give up the 0% APR in order to convert to a MC. The rep would not budge.
