I sat on my CSP application in the mail until just yesterday and decided to pull the trigger. $7500. Since I'm a AU on my wife's Freedom and we owe a fair amount of money on that card, I'm not complaining on this one. I'll use it for the 40,000 bonus points, then I'm not sure what else after that.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

I moved my personal checking account to Chase but during the account set-up process they told me I was pre-qualified for a Chase Sapphire Preferred. I already hold their Freedom card and Southwest Airlines Visa card. I went ahead and accepted their pre-qualified CSP offer and applied. I was approved and just learned that I'm getting a $5K CL. Is that pretty much the norm for CLs coming out of the gate? Do I have to call after 6 months for a CLI or is a CLI review automatic? I really don't want another hard pull on my credit profile. I was comparing the bennies of the CSP to my Amex Business Platinum and aside from the Plat's 200 airline credit and perhaps the airline lounge usage, well, the CSP looks like a better deal. The $95 CSP AF compared to my Amex Plat of $450 may be the deal breaker.
Cards:
American Express: Business Platinum-NPSL, Delta SkyMiles Gold-$2K
Chase: Sapphire Preferred-$5K, Southwest Airlines Visa-$3.7K, Freedom-$400
USAA: Platinum MC-$4K, Advantage Rate MC-$4K, Amex-$4K
FBNO: BucksBack Visa-$1K, Amex-$1.7K
GECRB: Walmart Discover-$3,7K
Barclays: Financing Visa-$3.2K, Juniper MC-$1.1K
Capital One: Platinum MC-$1.5K, Platinum MC-$750
CFNA: Firestone-$1.6K
CitiBank: Office Depot Business Card-$1K

Kind of sporatic. I just used it for coffee every morning and made a couple of fairly large purchases on it over the 6 months. I made a $1500 purchase one month and paid it off. A couple months later I put a 2K purchase on it and paid that one off and shortly after I made that payment I got the CLI. I also used it at a few restaurants, but that's about it. I think Chase likes to see payments made that are 1K plus.
