I'm sure you're correct I have no doubt they do this. I just wanted to say don't let that deter you. I've recon'd three times to get a card, even assuming they save that which I'm sure they do. You already paid for it with the inquiry, you have nothing to lose by calling up being nice and pleading your case, the worst they can do is say no which they already said.

But what sucks is that BoA's customer support is full of retards and you have to keep calling them get stuff done. They never get it right the fist 5 times i call. I'd dump them in a heart beat, but my oldest and lowest APR account is with them.

and to the OP: Chase CS is on top of their game, unlike some other banks. a few days after you apply give them a call at the number previously listed. if you have any chance of getting approved i'm sure it'll happen on the first call.

Wanted to say this is completely true, and it even saved my ass a few weeks ago when they messed up so royally, they were able to confirm I was given bad information from a CSR and were able to assist me in fixing my issue (which they created by giving me false information).

If they hadn't kept tabs on what I was calling about the day before, I may have been screwed by that one CSR's incompetence.
