What's your CSP apr?

Postby lexrj » Mon Apr 29, 2013 8:27 pm

Curious on how my APR compares to others. Got my CSP 2 months ago and my APR is 15.24%
Is that considered avg, high or low?

Mine is 15.24% as well. After a year of carrying the card, I requested a lower APR. No dice.

I really have no idea. But, they're not getting anything out of it.

Mine is on the way so I have no experience yet but it seems to be quite the card; and with a low AF for what it is offering it would stand to reason the APR be on the moderate to higher side. On average they probably make much more from the APR vice having a high AF like Amex Plat. The low AF is just marketing--good marketing at that.

I plan to be like djrez4 and pay it off every month to avoid the charges.

I'm also hoping the CSP will become my new everyday card. Right now it's Amex Plat, but with the MR program losing its luster I see less advantage to using it for everyday purchasing. It will still have a high usage rate--just more target from now on.

I was in the same boat as you recently, Rocky. No pun intended (from Oahu here myself).

My Amex plat used to be my defacto, but once I read up on travel blogs and forums, realized I was robbing myself of far more valuable point systems. Now, my SPG Amex and CSP are my go-to's.
