I have been reading many forums about the paypower card issued by black hawk. I did not know of these issues with the paypower card until my card got restricted after having my paycheck direct deposited to the card. I have been using the card since January of 2013 without any problems but 2 weeks ago I had my paycheck direct deposited to the card and was made unavailable to the funds.
I keep calling customer service and of course it is outsourced by individuals that cannot understand what I am trying to explain. Customer Service states that my card was blocked by the risk department and I would need to fax in a copy of id, social security card, utility bill, and a copy of the pay stub. I complied with all there request 8 days ago and have not heard anything back from the risk department nor anyone working for paypower. I have called numerous times and every representative keeps stating that the risk department is unavailable to take calls at the moment.
I have placed three request to have the risk department call me and no one has called me when they clearly states its a 24/48 hour turnaround period. I have went to the extreme of retaining an attorney to get in contact with the risk department and even an attorney is unable to get someone to give him a call back. I know many users on this forum has had problems with paypower but if anyone has had a similar situation to mines can you please advice me what to do to try and clear this up as I can desperately use the money that is rightfully mines.
