CSP new design?

Postby gold-rick » Fri Mar 29, 2013 3:27 pm

I was just recently approved for the Sapphire preferred with a limit of 5k, I am actually surprised since I am only 19 with 1 year of history.

But the man on the phone said the Sapphire Preferred has a new design, has anyone seen it?

Congrats on the approval...its unusual to get one for someone so young.

I would expect the new design would have something to do with EMV smart chip compatibility. The old metal card didn't work too well with the chip I'm told.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)
American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($20K)
Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

Gold-Rick, I'm a 19 year old looking to get the CSP. What does your credit profile look like? (# of HPs, scores, other cards' limits, Age of Accounts, etc.)

I have word from the manager of the CSP division that there will not be an EMV CSP before October.

Hard pulls I think like 4-5

Score was like 712 last time I checked.
