The Cash Rewards version sounds pretty tempting. I already an eChecking account with BofA, so I could get the extra 50% plus I could use it to pump gas as well.

I rarely travel. I might drive to Orlando every once in a while, but that's about it.

I just read over on MyFico that the Priceline Visa had been cut to 1X points.
Blue Cash Preferred ($24K), Costco TrueEarnings ($8K), Better Balance Rewards ($6K), CashForward ($15K), Sallie Mae Rewards ($10K), Quicksilver ($17K), AARP Rewards ($15K), Freedom ($15K), Double Cash ($16.5K), It ($28.5K), Fidelity Investment Rewards ($18K), Cash+ ($11K)

If you get the Cash Rewards the rewards would be 2.2% on groceries, 3.3% on gas and 1.1% elsewhere using your account to put the bonus into.

It looks like that's out then. Where's the MyFico thread?

I wonder if they are nerfing it for existing card holders too. If that's the case, 1.5 or 1.25 will be the best you can get.

What about the Chase Sapphire Preferred? You get 1% on "everything else" plus an annual 7% dividend. You can also then transfer Freedom UR points to airlines.

If you want an Amex, the Fidelity Amex gives 2% on everything.
