TY Preferred 21 month BT targeted offer

I just got a preapproved offer for a Citibank Thank Your preferred with a 21 month 0% offer looking at my arsenal of cards in my signature is there any reason I would want this card other then the 0% for 21 months???

I got the same today. The month prior it was 18-months. So, this has me curious how much sweeter the pot could get if I continue to hold out.

21 months is the longest I have seen, my wife and I both get hammered, I had a thank card from 03 to 09 and when the credit card act went into play I had to cancel it to lock in the rate i had and paid it down and right before I paid it down called to see if I could re instate the card and they told me to f** mu self and to open a new card since my card was from 03 I asked if they backdate like amex they laughed so unless there is a real reward benefit for me, I have no use for citi

Do you have a balance worth transferring? You'd still pay the 3% balance transfer fee.

Looks like you have every cash back card under the sun (except Citibank Dividend) so it would appear that you are primarily interested in cash back. If so, Thank You points aren't really going to do much for you. If you are looking for a good point card that can be used for travel then the Chase Sapphire Preferred would be a better choice and it would compliment your Freedom.

I'd say skip it if you do not really need a balance transfer. It would not be worth the hit to your AAoA.

When you product changed to the Cash Rewards, did your account number change?

This card augments the benefits of the Citi Forward by making every point work 1 cent.

To my knowledge Amex is the ONLY creditor that will backdate. I've never seen personally nor heard of anyone else doing that. If I'm wrong here please feel free to correct me.....
