With them involved, it could go either way though I sure wouldn't bet any money on an increase. But hey you have nothing to lose by trying since it's a SP!

So checked online today. Raised my 09 cap card from 1500 to 2500 and my 2011 cap one from 1250 to 2000. Not bad. Could be more but am happy with that only because it is crap one.

I've had the same problem with Capital One. I've had a card with them for two years and they've raised my credit limit once. From everything I hear on these forums and others, Capital One is stingy with their CLIs, so in my opinion you are better off closing the account or simply putting it in your sock drawer.

Just got off the phone with the excutive office and they were able to give me double the credit limit i had with them. Email the CEO and go from there.

This is making Cap One look better than Discover, which is more stingy than Scrooge with a penny on CLIs. Maybe I'll close Discover and go back to Cap One since they actually seem to be starting to give CLIs!

Why bother to email the CEO to raise a low limit on a card when you can simply apply for a card from a bank like Chase that will offer a superior product with superior rewards and a higher limit right off the bat?
