If it was me, I would spend about 1 - 1.5K a month at office supply stores and 100 - 250 at other places. But thats just me.

Well Office Depot officially pulled (2/2/2013) all the Visa and Amex gift cards that you can load up to $500 on. So if you plan on racking up a lot of spend now at Office Stores, you are limited to gift cards to all the different stores/restaurants they sell, or the $200 Visa card that has a $7 load fee.

$200 with a $7 fee means you spend $207 to earn 1035 Chase UR points (5 x $207). However, keep in mind you would normally earn 1 point with every day spending, so the real advantage is 4 bonus points per dollar so 4 x 207 = 828 Chase UR points for $7.

Works out to be .85 cents per point which is still good, but not really as good as the 2020 bonus points you were getting for $5 before on the $500 card with a $5 load fee.
American Express: MB Platinum Card, Business Platinum, Business Gold, SPG, Hilton Surpass
Chase: Ink Plus, Ink Bold, Sapphire Preferred, United Mileage Plus, Marriott Premier
Citi: Executive AA World Elite MasterCard, AA Visa Signature, AA Business MasterCard
Barclays: US Airways World Elite, Arrival Card

Well that makes Ink pretty much worthless... Other than a great sign up bonus...

Was just at staples the other day. They only had $200 Visa/MC GC's with a $6.95 fee. They did have retail GC's though, but nothing to do alot of damage with...

There's still a nice sign up bonus and you can always downgrade to a no-AF version.

Get Ink Plus, get the $500 sign up bonus. Then downgrade to Ink Classic to get 5% on bill pay with no AF.

Has anyone had any success getting the Ink Plus who DON'T have a business? I'm considering getting that card later on but the app asks alot of business questions. Also, you think a annual income of 25k would suffice for that card?
