Yeah, my BoA cash rewards card came in on Friday, was disappointed to see there was no mention of Visa Signature at all :(

Is your credit line under $5K? If it is over $5K I would be surprised that it wouldn't be a Signature. Banks like to make their reward cards Signature and World as often as possible because they earn a higher swipe fee on those cards which help pay for the reward. Visa requires at least a $5K credit line for Signature.

Congrats on the card though. I am thinking about changing my Accelerated Cash Rewards Amex to the new Cash Rewards BankAmericard.

I wonder why that is. Sounds pretty arbitrary. Anyway, you can call the bank for a Signature if the CL is $5K+.

Why are so many upset about not getting a Signature card? BoA and Chase Sigs DON'T REPORT CREDIT LINES only high balances. If you spend roughly the same, you can create completely false utilization issues. 90+% will likely never use the added benefits. I for one would like to have plain Visa's.

Give it time, BofA has historically been good at giving automatic CLI's.

Because it is supposed to be the top tier, luxury card. At one time in the not so long ago past they required $5K for Platinum.

As a child of the 1980's I have to say I really miss Visa Gold and Gold MasterCards ;) I used to have a few but they have since been "upgraded."

Groceries: AMEX BCP, Penfed Platinum Rewards,Citi TYP
Clothes: Express, Amex BCP, Discover IT

Bars, clubs, tomfoolery: CSP, Citi Forward, Discover IT, Freedom
Balance transfers: Kroger 123 rewards
Bill Pay: Chase Ink Plus, Citi Forward
Everyday spending: Bofa Accelerated cash rewards amex, Discover Escape

I didn't even know anything about the card until I looked it up the other day. I wondered what signature entailed and that's how I figured out about the concierge service so I got the number from the back of the card and tried it out on dinner reservations.

I was kinda a douche just because i wanted to see how much they would do for me. I asked for a specific table at a popular restaurant in Charleston at the most popular hour. They took care of it right away, it was bad ass.

I am in college and don't really have a problem booking my own reservations so the feature is pretty useless for me but you can also book tickets to a sold out show on Broadway, get playoff tickets last minute, and have them book your flights for you, which i will probably use. I hear that there are different levels of signature cards and I have no clue which tier I am in but its probably the top one being that I can do all that with it, if not then I have no idea other features higher sig. cards come with.

The best thing about the card to me is that it isn't black or some other **** you i'm rich color. the uninformed public has no idea how prestigious the card is, I didn't even know until I did some research on it but it comes with most of the features of a amex black except you don't have to spend an outrageous amount of money per year, its not metal, and its not as "baller" which is why I like it. I dont know if you can get into airport lounges with it, if anyone else does let me know because that would be awesome.

My card also says "by invitation" on it as well so you might not even be able to sign up for it unless they ask you but that's just an assumption. If that's true its probably not to difficult to get ask because my dad isn't some mega-millionaire that drops tens of thousands on his card per month, that I know of.

Anyway if you get the chance to get this card and you find it necessary to have a concierge service I would do it. I don't know the limit on the card but I will never come close to hitting it. If it does in fact come with airport lounge access then getting this card is a no brainer. By the way if any of yall know if it comes with this perk let me know

Hey bynuceh, can I ask which card you have that says "by invitation". Is it the card on the left here https://www.wellsfargoadvisors.com/financial-services/lending/credit-cards.htm? If so, then according to what I found online it requires $1 million or more invested with Wells Fargo.
American Express Zync ~ NPSL
American Express Everyday ~ $2000
Bank of America Travel Rewards ~ $1500
Chase Freedom ~ $2500
AU Capital One Venture One ~ $5000
