Just got approved for the Freedom and More!

Postby FICOLICIOUS » Mon Oct 01, 2012 10:55 am

Applied Friday for this card as well as Discover More and APPROVED for both. Chase called me this morning to verify a few things and BOOM said I was approved.

Closed two CC's already (AF's and both secured). Very excited since I have a CHASE Checking account.

Now, patience and diligence. Keep paying on time, AMEX BLUE SKY is next (in 6 months).

FWIW...EQ FICO 699; TU FICO 666; Chase pulled BOTH EQ and EX; DISCOVER pulled both EQ and TU. Also, after I applied for Chase, Friday, I refinaced my auto at credit union. After the hard pull by Chase, EQUIFAX FACTA BEACON 09 FICO was 659 at my credit union.

there the same kind of card. the 1 diffrence is chase is a bank and the Visa is a processor while the Discover is a finincial company
the other diffrence is chase no longer allows anybody who came over from another bank that put the membership date on the card
while the rewards card did. Discover does keep the date on the card .
mine on the platinum chase 1995 , rewards 1995 , chase Freedom card currently in souvenoir wallet Discover 1998 in my main wallet
used it a lot for gas.

Congrats I love my Chase card. Everyone is so friendly when I go into the branch too pay my bill. Maybe the fact that I’m giving them money has something to do with it. :ppp
