Also consider the recently introduced US Bank Cash+. You can set your reward categories with this card. For you, I would suggest selecting 2% on groceries or gas; 5% on restaurants, and 5% on bills.

U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature® Card | U.S. Bank
American Express: Blue Cash Preferred (groceries, 6%; gas, department store, 3%); Gold Delta SkyMiles (Delta Air Lines, 2 miles/dollar, free checked bag).
US Bank: Cash+ (utilities, phone, internet, restaurant, 5%; drugstores, 2%).
FIA Card Services: Fidelity Amex (everything, 2%); Fidelity Visa (everything, 1.5%).
Chase: Freedom (rotating, 5%); Amazon (Amazon.com, 3%); PriorityClub (IHG hotels, 5 points/dollar); Sapphire (not in use).

*All cards are registered with PriorityClub IDine program for 8 points/dollar at participating restaurants.

So I couldn't resist waiting any longer I applied for the Chase Freedom and was approved and then a friend of mine mentioned the 50 dollars toward discover again so I applied and was approved for the Discover More as well. The rewards for the US Bank card do sound great but I was worried I wouldn't get the signature and I'd miss out of the better rewards.

I will likely just work with these for a while because I have quite a few inquiries since I applied for a car this year, the Freedom took a recon to explain that but then was approved no problem.
Amex BCE - 6600. Marriott Premier - 12k. Freedom - 2600.
Discover IT - 5500. WF College Card - 1200.
