Just got approved for the Sapphire preferred

Hi i just got approved for the Sapphire preferred with a $5000 credit limit. although i do have the amex gold card, but is this made out of metal or plastic?

Recent reports say it's still made of metal. Congrats on the approval though! That's the main card I currently have my sights set on. Come next year I should be joining you.

Well, to be honest I kind of have that one in mind to replace my Green card. The rewards are much more valuable, benefits are comparable, and it just looks badass. It would also make sense for me to consolidate my rewards as much as possible, so with the inevitable usage of my Freedom card during opportune 5% quarters and having the option of combining those points with the CSP it just makes sense.

The travel rewards are nice too. And it's Chase. And if you have Chase checking you can get the Chase "trifecta"

Just to be clear, to get the trifecta effect you need Chase checking, Freedom and Sapphire Preferred

if you don't mind me asking whats' you credit score and annual Income? Did you already have a card with 5k limit? was this instant approval or wait 5-10 business days?

I want to apply for this card but wanna make sure that I have everything in order
