Sam's Club doesn't accept Visa credit cards. They will however accept Mastercard and even Discover. At least that's how it is at my local stores.

I know I'm a little late, but I just received my CSP Visa. Hoping for a MC, I was a little disappointed by this. However, I called Chase, and they said it would be absolutely no problem to transfer it to Mastercard; I'll receive the new card in a few days.

I guess the old adage is true; it doesn't hurt to ask!

No the only would be if your whole life you had a Visa but never had a Mastercard, and you want a Mastercard, which would be a personal
situation. or if you travel to some very foreign location and you need help getting assistance, this situation would only be your only advantage. other than that Visa and Mastercard are the same to me.
