I read on another forum that you need to talk to a Personal Banker in order to apply. Not a bad idea anyway since you already have 3 Chase cards. I hear the minimum credit line is $15K so they might ask you to close one of your existing accounts.

This is all hearsay of course though.

There was also talk on this forum that if you sneak up on them and just fax in a cold app they may approve you under certain provisions while bypassing the standard private banker requirements. No guarantees of course.

I wouldn't mind closing my basic Sapphire. Or even both Sapphires for a Palladium. If I can get out early, I will pay my banker a visit after I get out of work today and see what she says. I would love to get the application papers from someone here and just fax it over because I don't have $30,000,000 invested with JPM. I actually don't even have $125,000 invested like people say you have to, simply because I only trust myself with my investments, not other people.

I read both Flyertalk and Creditboards. Flyertalk is teeming with people who are stingy when it comes to shelling out information, and Creditboards is just messy. But there are great information on those forums if you could find it; I couldn't because I didn't want to spend 2 hours reading every post.
