Which Chase card adds to United Lifetime Flight Miles?

Postby agp » Wed May 30, 2012 6:49 pm

Trying to become a million miler, as United/Continental calls it but have some questions. For every mile you flight, you get miles added to your Lifetime Flight Miles counter, but do dollars spent on Chase United MileagePlus Explorer count towards your Lifetime Flight Miles? Or is Lifetime Flight Miles a strict fly-only counter?

Main Card: Amex Platinum
For gas: Penfed Platinum Cash Rewards
For travel & dining: Chase Sapphire Preferred

Hey agp.

Unfortunately, none: the only way to get qualifying miles is to fly. I remember reading how Chase even nerfed both higher end United/Continental credit cards (Presidential Plus and United Club) by removing its ability to earn qualifying miles.

-1 on whoever made that decision.
