So on the welcome package it says that my credit score is 725, does that mean that my equifax score is 725? I have never checked my own scores before.

He just asked me why I thought I needed a recon and I was sincere and said that I felt that I deserved the card and that I have 1 year on my wellsfargo credit card. I told him that I never have late payments and that I would be willing to have a 500 CL if they were willing to give me the card. It said I got denied in the letter because I did not have enough income. I put 6K at first but told him to change it to 12K because I would be making much more this year than I did last year. He came back not a couple of minutes later and said okay you approved for a 500 CL.

When you husband calls back tell him to sound sincere and not a person who is trying to get as many new cards as possible. I might have gotten lucky my first time and gotten a really nice guy so if you get denied at first you should try to call back the next day at another time.

I called their recon. line as well and was approved with a 1000 CL. However, it's been about a week and a half and still no card in the mail :( . I got their denied letter as why I wasn't approved the first time. I called to check on my app status and it states I was approved so I know I should be getting it soon right? haha, I'm just impatient, I don't need it but I want to start establishing more credit!

Yeah it shouldn't take that long- that happened w/ my Amex card and had them overnight me a new one; the original card probably got lost in the mail or something.

On the the other hand, I received a Capital One card within two days, and the Visa within five business days I believe, if not sooner.
Currently: American Express Blue Sky, American Express Zync, Chase Freedom Visa, Capital One Newcomers--->converted to Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard NO AF

Congrats on the Freedom card! I got mine last month with a 666 Experian score (not sure why it's low no baddies, no lates perfect payment history etc) and a $500 CL. They just increased my line because I called to the lending department and explained that I went over the $500 3 times and paid it off. Increased me to $1,500. Did you get the 0% APR because unfortunately I did not :(

Wow, I am completely in awe of Chase. They didn't approve you, and you had to recon but got the 0%? I was approved right away and did not get the 0% :(
