Anyone with a credit card from your credit union?

Postby Money card » Wed Apr 11, 2012 9:50 pm

I'm sure the answer is no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I just recently got an application for the AFSCME union plus card. It's a cashback card, I'm wondering for people who like to shop, if approved will the bank send coupons to us?

For example on 1 of my cards, I have been given 15% off 1 item at Barnes and Noble, 10 dollars off a purchase of 50 or more at Bass, Van Heusen, Izod and Evelyn and Crabtree.

I'm sure they don't but I'm curious has anybody ever gotten any coupons from their credit card union, similar to how Discover and American Express send coupons to cardholders?

(For anybody that's curious it's a Mastercard)

Do you actually shop at retail stores with the card or do you use it for other purchases?
