There seriously seems to be a Visa/M.C. for everything!

Discuss the Visa & MasterCard payment networks as well as cards that operate through them.

Is it just me or does anyone else think it's crazy that they offer credit cards for everything now. It seems every store, business, organization, whatever has their own brand of Visa or Mastercard credit cards. I was on this video game site today and they had a credit card for World of Warcraft. Does everyone really feel the need to have a credit card for every single thing out there LOL! The thing I don't get is they don't offer you any incentive better than any other card. So what they offer you 1% rewards to apply to their services? You could totally open up almost any credit card and they give you 1% cash back and you could not only use that on World of Warcraft but anything you wanted. That's the whole thing I don't get. None of them offer rewards any better than juts normal cash back so there's no point in getting these specialty credit cards IMO.

Yeah I'm right there with ya. Why not just do the 1% cash rebate credit cards so you can buy what you want where you want.
Stop talking crap about him!

You're right there's no point to it! You're getting a 1% reward so you might as well just get a card that gives you 1% cash. What kind of eerks me is the charity credit cards where they donate 1% to a charity. That's great and all but isn't that just a tax writeoff for the credit card company? I've wondered the same thing at grocery stores. You know how they always try to get you to donate $5 or something at the register added onto your total. Well who is taking the writeoff on that? Someone is and it sure as hell isn't the people giving it. I guess at the end of the day people are being helped so it's better than not giving at all, so I probably shouldn't be complaining about it.
