Chase Sapphire Credit Score?

Postby Mully85 » Tue Mar 27, 2012 9:56 pm

Does anybody have a recommendation on what your Credit Score should be to get approved for Chase Sapphire or Chase Sapphire Preferred?

ALSO...do they check all three credit scores or do they like to use only ONE like Amex?

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

I would say you need at least 3 cards from more of an executive-level bank/financial institution.

You already have an Amex gold card.

I would suggest a Discover card and also a major bank like Capitol1, Citibank or Bank of America. Then once you have all 3, you can take a ride down to Chase and apply.

btw on the chase sapphire, they require a certain amount of income because they cant give you any lower then a $5000 credit limit for either cards since they're both visa signature cards.

I know back in the early 90's it was 25,000 for there gold card. times have changed along with credit cards we now have names on them and different levels.

I'm going to guess 35,000 I could be wrong but it's just my guess.

It's gotta be higher than that...if they only required you to make $35K/year for that card, every "joe blow" would have one...
