Do you use your Mastercard/Visa concierge service?

Postby Money card » Tue Feb 21, 2012 10:10 pm

For the people who use their card on business do you people ever use the concierge service?

I know these cards are personal cards, a lot of people use the cards to go shopping at the mall, Walmart, they go to the movies, grocery store and gas stations.

But what I'm wondering is people who use their cards for business use, like traveling, booking airline tickets, entertaining clients, customers at dinner functions, checking into hotels. Do you people ever call the concierge service and ask them to help you?

Just curious do you ever use the concierge service?

I find it much easier if I just do it myself, its a good way for me to spend time on tasks that are much simpler than my day to day hectic life.

First of all I find it harder for example when looking up certain restaurants that aren't in my area, finding the phone number can take some time in our busy life.

2nd of all we are paying for it. If I want dining reservations at Mickey Mantle's, it would take time whereas calling the concierge it would take about 1 minute.

When going out of town and needing airline tickets and hotel reservations, it's the same place you always go to then like you said just call yourself. I'm sure you have the numbers.

But if you go on business to different hotels and use different airlines isn't it easier to have help?

In my life at grocery stores the cashier bags my groceries, when using a credit card at a store like J Crew store employees swipe my credit card. When needing dinner reservations at restaurants the concierge makes my resorvations on certain times.
