Ask FastSRT8 about Vancouver in 2010, same thing happened.
Did celestine ask about the Olympics or did he/she ask about Citibank diamond Mastercard and a Visa? Did celestine ask about the Olympics and what establishments take only Mastercard or Visa? or is he/she interested in getting a Visa in case there are any establishments that only take Mastercard?
They are a sponsor of the Olympics but I can guarantee you this - if the establishment only takes Visa, they won't make that much money. Because if a customer is told the only credit card that place takes is Visa people will walk out his door and go somewhere else.
Whether it be a bagel shop, a bar/restaurant, a cafe, Mastercard was invented the same time as Visa late 60's early 70's Bank of America.
One time in Canada, around 1991 or so at the hockey hall of fame in the souvenir shop, a sales person said they only took Mastercard. Me and my friend talked to the person and explained the situation, that Visa and Mastercard are the same and eventually I used my First Fidelity Visa there. At that time they didn't take American Express, Discover or Diners club.
So can you imagine walking into a establishment and they only take 1 credit card - Visa? What do the people who have a Chase Freedom Mastercard, depending upon the establishment? If it's a restaurant, bar, bookstore, tourist store?
